This Cookie Policy explains how Floor Optimizer uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They let a site remember things between page loads — for example, that you are signed in.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the Service to work and cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality. They are always on and do not need your consent:

• Authentication cookies (set by our auth provider, Supabase) keep you signed in and secure your session.
• Local storage stores your in-progress design in your browser so you don’t lose your work. This stays on your device.

Our own measurement cookie

When you arrive through an advert or a campaign link, we set one first-party cookie of our own, fo_attr, for up to 90 days. It stores how you arrived: the campaign tags and advertising click reference from the link address, the site that referred you and the page you landed on. That is all it contains — no name, no email, no browsing history.

We use it for one thing: knowing which of our marketing brings visitors, so we can spend our small advertising budget sensibly. It is read only by us, it is never used to follow you on other sites, and nothing from it is shared from your browser. If you accept analytics cookies and later sign up or make a purchase, we may report that conversion to Google Ads as described in our Privacy Policy; if you do not accept, the information stays with us.

Analytics cookies (optional)

With your permission, we use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it. With permission these set cookies (such as _ga) that help us count visits, see which pages and features are used, and measure whether our ads bring people who find the tool useful.

Analytics cookies are off by default. Until you choose Accept, Google Analytics and PostHog store no cookies or identifiers on your device (the only cookie set without consent is our own fo_attr cookie described above, which never leaves our systems). Google Analytics does load in a restricted mode that records an anonymous, cookieless page count so we can see basic traffic levels, and Google may use that to estimate totals. It cannot recognise you or follow you between visits or between sites.

If you choose Accept, both tools switch to full measurement, and PostHog may record an anonymised replay of your session so we can see where the app is confusing to use. Passwords and email fields are always hidden from these recordings. If you choose Reject, no analytics cookies are set, PostHog never loads, and nothing is recorded. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s cookies and stored data in your browser, which brings the banner back.

We advertise on Google. If you accept analytics cookies, we use them to tell whether a visit came from one of our ads and whether it led to a sign up or a purchase, and we may report such conversions to Google Ads (including a hashed, unreadable version of your email address that Google uses only to match the conversion to the ad click). We do not sell your data, and we do not use these cookies to build advertising profiles about you.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block our authentication cookies, you will not be able to sign in or use the parts of the Service that require an account.

Changes

If we introduce other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required before setting them.
